How to Play Super 6 – Live Dealer Game on Bovada.lv

Introduction of live dealer games is yet another proof Bovada team listens to customer feed-back and does its best to answer the needs of their players. Consequently, the Casino has partnered up with Visionary iGaming and is now home to an array of tables hosted by attractive, welcoming dealers eager to spin the Roulette wheel and deal you in in a game of Blackjack, Baccarat or Super 6.

Super 6 – An exciting Baccarat Variant

Super 6 is a fairly new variant of popular Baccarat. Unlike the standard game, it offers the player an opportunity to win larger amounts without necessarily investing more money. This has been made possible with an addition of several side bets, namely Perfect Pairs, Dragon Bonus and Super 6. While the maximum one can win playing standard Baccarat is normally 8:1 for a Tie, these side wagers will allow you to collect as much as 30:1. Baccarat is a fairly simple game and quite easy to master. Having played for a while, you may want to increase the excitement as well as the game’s win potential by exploiting some or all of these welcome additions.

How to Play Live Super 6

For the Live Experience, make sure you do NOT click on “Table Games”, but rather the “Live Dealer” icon…

Live Super 6 streams from ViG’s studio in Costa Rica and shares the floor with other live tables, thus creating a realistic land-based casino experience. Before you enter the gaming arena, you’ll need to select the table best fitting your budget. There are three bet range options to pick from at Bovada – $5 to $100, $25 to $1,000, and $100 to $2,500. Choosing one will open the game window and you’ll soon hear your dealer greeting you by name and welcoming you to the table.

As soon as “Place Your Bets” sign becomes active, you’ll be able to select the preferred chip denomination and place your first bet. Just to remind you, the goal of the game is to guess which of the two hands – the Banker or the Player – gets closer to a score of 9. Standard bets are the same as in any Baccarat game – the Player, the Banker and a Tie, though payouts slightly differ. Player bet pays even money and same goes for the Banker, except when the latter wins with 6 and you only get to collect 50% of your original wager.  If you opt for a Tie bet and it wins, you’ll score 8:1.

Once the chips are on the table and betting period expires, your host will deal two cards to both the Player and the Banker hand. A third card may be dealt to either hand based on a set of predetermined rules. They do get applied automatically, nothing you can do about it.

Quick Rules About a Possible 3rd Card

If any of the hands scores 8 or 9 with the first two cards, it’s a so-called Natural, that particular hand wins and the round is over.
If the hand in question is a 6 or a 7, nothing happens yet.
If the hand is a 5 or lower, a third card is automatically drawn for it.
Now, if the Player doesn’t draw any more cards (he has a score of 6 or better), the Banker will stand on a score of 6 and draw on 5 or less.

Once again, there is nothing you can do about it, the game plays systematically, but the Banker may or may not draw a 3rd card depending on not only what they have, but also on what 3rd card the Player has. This involves a great big scoring chart which can easily be found just to the left of your play area when “in game”.

Keep in mind the fact that there is no reason to memorize the above, you’re simply wagering on who has the better “no skills” hand. You just may question why sometimes there’s a 3rd and a 6th card and wonder why, that’s all.

The Buttons on The Table

ViG has populated the screen with multiple in-game options to make the gameplay as easy and as satisfying as possible. Buttons on the right-hand side open detailed game rules, display bet limits for each bet type as well as the respective payouts, and offer detailed statistics of past rounds using traditional Baccarat roadmaps. Icons positioned on the bottom help you manage your wagers. Clear Bets button removes all chips you’ve placed on the table, Rebet automatically places the same bets as in the previous round, and Auto Rebet will do the same for as long as you don’t unselect the box or clear all bets. Your balance, bet in play and win are displayed at the very top of the screen. If you’re happy with how the dealer performs, feel free to tip them using the slot positioned on the right side of the table.

Live Super 6 Side Bets

…and then choose your preferred dealer.

As mentioned earlier, there are three exciting side bets to choose from. Super 6 is offered as insurance against the Banker winning with a 6, in which case you’d only be paid 1:2. Using this option you’re actually predicting that the Banker will score a 6, and if you happen to be right, the Casino will pay you 12:1.

Player and Banker side wagers win if the first two cards dealt to the respective hand form a pair. You can alternatively bet on either of the hands scoring a pair rather than pick one. These bets can be placed in addition to or instead of the basic Player / Banker wagers.  Player and Banker Pair both pay 11:1, while Either Pair delivers 5:1.

Dragon Bonus side bet pays when a hand is a Natural winner or wins by at least a 4-point difference. In case of a Natural win, the bet pays even money, and if Natural ties, it will push. Payouts for non-natural winning Dragon Bonus bets depend on how big is the difference in points between the two hands. You’ll collect 1:1 for a difference of 4, 2:1 for a 5-point difference, 4:1 for 6 points, 6:1 for 7 points, 10:1 for 8 points, and a maximum of 30:1 for a 9-point difference.
