Aladdin’s Wishes
Embark on a fantasy adventure taking place in the Middle East. Gaze upon the deserts and the magnificent architecture while helping Aladdin to fulfill his dreams in the RTG video slot Aladdin’s Wishes. Obviously, Aladdin’s Wishes was inspired by the Disney animated classic, but what a lot of people don’t know is that Disney based their movie on a Middle Eastern folk tale from The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. ‘Aladdin and the Magic Lamp’ is one of the best-known stories from the book and you’ll be glad to know that, unlike most folk tales used by Disney, the original Aladdin has a happy ending where everyone lives happily ever after.

The Disney franchise started in 1992, when the company released the first animated feature, Aladdin. In the feature, we are introduced to the street urchin Aladdin who finds a magic lamp and has his wishes granted by a Genie, attempting to gain the affection of Princess Jasmine. The huge success of the 1992 award-winning animated fantasy musical was market with the brilliant performance of Robin Williams as the Genie. Aladdin was followed by two sequels, The Return of Jafar (1994) and Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996).
One look at RTG’s Aladdin’s Wishes slot and you immediately become aware of the strong influence of the animated movie. That’s not a bad thing, both Aladdin and the Genie are lovable characters we are always happy to see on screen. The graphics are suitably cartoonish, but more two-dimensional, like they were drawn to illustrate a picture book. Palaces, camels and the desert can be seen in the distance, in the background. The reels, on the other hand, show our favorite characters and an array of theme-related items, with the magic lamp being one of them. Should you be lucky enough, you’ll get to rub it and make some of your own wishes come true!
Welcome to Agrabah
Pointy rooftops won’t be all you’ll see in Agrabah, the place where poor Aladdin ends up with, where he meets his precious Princess Jasmine and starts turning things around with the help of the Genie. The Arab world is colorful and attractive, with its rich culture and artistry. Add a sparkle of magic and here comes Genie to make trivial objects such as lamps and rugs much more interesting.
The pay table presents 10 regular symbols and 2 special icons. You can expect decent payouts from combinations of swords, vases, bows of exotic fruit, magic carpets, sacks of gold, crowns, palaces and monkeys. Princess Jasmine and Genie pay a lot more, especially for five of a kind. In an even better scenario, you can mix them up with Aladdin, who is the Wild and double your winnings.
Aladdin only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. One or more Aladdins in a winning combination of regular symbols will boost that specific win 2 times. Aladdin can’t replace the Magic Lamp symbol, which is the Scatter. All symbols pay left to right across 20 paying lines, except for the Scatter which pays in any position.
Make a Wish and Rub the Lamp – Fulfillment Guaranteed
As you enjoy the smooth game play, keep an eye on the Scatter lamps. Collect three of them and initiate the Aladdin’s Wishes feature. In this special round, the game will give you a choice of 5 lamps and award one pick for each lamp that has triggered the feature. The true Magic Lamp will reveal 25 freebies, whereas the others will reveal cash prizes (worth 2, 5, 10, 25 and 100 times the bet). The round can be re-triggered and all the prizes are doubled during free spins.
Aladdin’s Wishes has one more surprise – a progressive jackpot. Randomly awarded, the jackpot contribution will not exceed 1.5% of total RTP. Although that’s not enough to build a royal palace, one luxurious voyage to the Middle East should be covered.
