Almighty Dollar
Almighty Dollar. They say money can’t buy happiness, but that hasn’t stopped everyone from trying. And, as colloquial wisdom so succinctly once said: It’s better to cry in a BMW than in a run down apartment.
Humans inherently love status and wealth, so it may not be that weird to say that some people’s religion is money. But Almighty Dollar takes it one step further, complete with heaven’s pearly white gates, trumpets and angels!

This 2018 release certainly has an interesting theme, but the execution is somewhat flawed. The background image depicts clear blue skies, rainbows in the distance, and golden clouds slowly moving about. It makes for interesting visuals, even if it feels a little dated.
The main contributing factors to the slot looking old are the choppy animations and the angel symbols. You probably won’t notice the clouds having rather barebones animations unless you really pay attention to them. Still, considering the rest of the icons don’t show any movement at all, it stands out all the more.
In equal measure, while other symbols look cool, if simple, the angels buck that trend. The female angel is so-so, but whoever designed the male angel needs to practice drawing human faces. He looks like he’s been caught in the middle of something awkward. Condoning gambling while being an agent of heaven, maybe?
The layout is quite simple. You have the paytable visible on the left side at all times, while the reels were pushed on the right side of the screen. Everything else is cleanly labelled, if a bit confusing for newer gamblers.
We have no information on the volatility of Almighty Dollar. After playing it for a while, we would probably classify it under the medium-high category. With free spins and Wild multipliers, you can net some awesome wins from time to time. But, for the most part, you should expect small or no pays until a jackpot happens.
Knockin’ on Heaven’s Slots
Almighty Dollar is played on a 3×3 board with 5 flexible paylines. This means players can turn some or all winlines on and off in order to lower their minimum wager. However, this also lowers your chances of winning, so we don’t recommend using it.
Rival Gaming’s release has an RTP of 94.35%, which is far below the current industry standard.
As a rule of thumb, we generally avoid recommending any game that does not have an RTP above 96%. With so many great options competing for your attention, accepting a slot that will pay less is nonsensical.
We have to admit, we did not miss the pseudo physical machine approach to changing your bets. Tackling coins, coin sizes and active paylines until you find your perfect wager is somewhat annoying. Despite needless complications, you do get decent options. You can stake between $0.01 up to $75 per spin. This will please high rollers, casual players, and everyone in between!
While the game has an Autoplay mode, it is only available during real money spins. This doesn’t really accomplish anything except make it annoying for gamblers in demo mode.
To win a cash prize, you have to collect three identical symbols in consecutive positions, from left to right only. The prize has to follow one of the five active paylines, or it will not be paid out.
Wilds are the most valuable symbol in the slot, with 450 coins for a three-of-a-kind win. After them is the lucky seven, the male angel, the female angel, the lion, trumpets, and a harp. The lowest paying icon is the golden ring, with 6 coins for a three-of-a-kind win. The free spins symbol does not pay anything.
Pros & Cons
Pearly White Bonuses
Each Wild comes attached with a 3x multiplier. This multiplier applies to all wins except ones that include the Wild. While it won’t help you hit the jackpot, it will boost your smaller pays and keep you spinning longer.
Collecting two or three Scatters rewards 7 or 21 free spins, respectively. If you get lucky and pair it well with the Wild multipliers, you can get some fantastic prizes. Despite being quite simple mechanically, this special feature is the crème da la crème of Almighty Dollar.
Still, we couldn’t help but feel like the slot could have used at least one more bonus. Maybe a point-and-click special feature, or a re-spin. As it stands, you have a lot of downtime where nothing is happening, and another bonus could have filled that space perfectly.
