Witch’s Brew
We hope you’re in the mood for something frightening and creepy, because there’s something boiling in that cauldron over there, and if you’re not careful, it may prove a disaster for your wallet. When society was less developed, we feared witches, for their dark spells and powerful potions could raise the dead, perform all sorts of wicked deeds, and harm others.
Of course, now humanity is more civilized, and we’ve stopped believing in the dreadful sorcery these spell-casters used.
Of course, for those who still respect such power and know how to use it, braving the dangers of the boiling cauldrons may not be a bad prospect for success. Witches are prosecuted creatures, after all, forced to flee at a moment’s notice if she’s discovered. As such, she probably has many valuables scattered about her home. Riches that someone of the ambitious sort may help themselves to.

RTG’s Witch’s Brew allows you to be that someone, to descend into the spooky tunnels that run beneath the city, to find the hideout of the witch, and her prized cauldron, and those who are successful may find themselves with a fair bit of loot to take home. The slot was released two-three years ago, in 2016, and still looks quite nice, with certain symbols having animations that play when a winning combination is triggered, and given it’s low volatility, we imagine there will be plenty of pays.
Trespassers Will Be Hexed!
Witch’s Brew is played on a 5×3 playing field with 25 flexible paylines. RTG has not released any information on the game’s RTP, so we do not know what you can expect when you first boot the title. Gamblers can manually adjust the amount of active paylines and the coin value for each spin, which allows wagers to be set as low as $0.01, and as high as $250 per spin.
The Autoplay option, at first, only allows players to set the amount of auto spins, or to keep them going until a feature is activated. However, by pressing the cogwheel button, they’re taken into the setting menu, where they can set a single win threshold, as well as win or loss limits. Gamblers may also choose to stop the game if any win at all goes through, as well.
Payouts for all symbols are awarded when three or more of one symbol follow one of the 25 paylines, starting from the leftmost reel. Certain higher valued icons only require two, or even one to award a very small win. If a Witch Wild is present in a winning combination, that symbol automatically pays twice its usual reward. The highest paying symbol is a root, followed by an aged wizard, a black cat, a frog and a cauldron full of potion, an alchemy set and a candle, and finally, a jar of eyeballs, additional alchemy supplies and a mortal with a pestle with are icons that pay the least.
A Witch’s Magic – Re-spins and free spins galore!
There are two types of Wilds in this RTG release. The first are dragon fangs, which are your standard Wilds. The second is the witch, which is also a Wild, but doubles all prizes when she is part of a winning combination. When three of the same Wild symbol appear on reels two, three and four, up to ten re-spins are awarded. Reels that contained the Wilds are held in place in the meantime.
The second bonus is the free spins special feature, triggered when three or more goblin blood Scatters appear anywhere. Three, four or five Scatters reward ten, twenty-five and one hundred and twenty-five free spins, respectively. It is possible to win more free spins by collecting Scatters while the bonus is already active. It is also possible to hit the Wild re-spins feature during free spins. In fact, you are more likely to do so, as Wilds appear grouped on their reels for the duration of the bonus, and all prizes are doubled.
