Witch’s Brew
The temptations of sorcery were always quite difficult to overcome, especially for the traditionally powerless. The danger witches possessed to the societies of old proved to be quite deadly, as what happened in Salem proves. Learning from their mistakes, new witches perform their craft in secrecy, far from the eyes of the modern world.
Now, you have an exquisite chance to sneak into her lair, and to uncover her secrets for your own needs. Do you dare incur the wrath of the witch?

The slot has to be one of RTG’s better-looking releases. Compared to their other 2016 games, Witch’s Brew looks light years ahead. Some symbols have animations of their own, and the screen transitions look gorgeous, if somewhat dated. Even the icons are appropriately witch-like. Potions, animals and ingredients can all be found on the reels – all coming together to create a perfect winning mixture!
The title uses the old RTG user interface, with some minor thematic adjustments. The auto spin button is a jar of eyeballs, and the spin itself is a witch’s hat, but the general layout is the same as all of their other releases at the time.
The slot has low variance, focusing more on rewarding lots of small pays rather than chasing a large jackpot. The risk factor is lower than usual, making it perfect for newcomers.
A Dangerous Cauldron
Witch’s Brew is played on a 5×3 board with 25 flexible paylines. This means players can lower their minimum bet by turning off some or all of the paylines. In doing so, gamblers decrease their odds of landing winning combinations, making it a sub-optimal path to take.
RTG have failed to provide any information on the game’s RTP. Because of that, we cannot recommend playing this title until the developers release the house edge.
By changing the line bet and the number of active paylines, players can adjust their total bet. Wagers can be set between $0.01 up to a maximum of $25 per spin.
The Autoplay menu has all the bells and whistles we have come to expect from RTG releases. You can choose the number of spins, win and loss limits, as well as stop the auto spins if a bonus or jackpot are won.
Wins are granted for collecting two, three or more identical symbols following one of the active paylines going from left to right. Scatters are the only icon exempt from this rule. The root is the most valuable symbol, followed by the wizard, the black cat, the frog and cauldron, potion stand and candle, and finally, several pieces of alchemical equipment.

Pros & Cons
Brewing Bonuses
There are two Wilds available on the reels. The first is the dragon’s fang dagger, which only substitutes for other symbols. The second is the witch, who doubles the value of all winning combinations she is a part of.
Collect three Wilds on the second, third and fourth reels to win ten re-spins. It is impossible to retrigger this special feature.
Three, four or five goblin blood Scatters reward ten, twenty-five or one hundred and twenty-five free spins. During the bonus, all wins are doubled, and Wilds appear grouped together. It is possible for the previous special feature to trigger during free spins.
