What’s in the Lab?

Visually, Frankenslot’s Monster is not the most beautiful slot of all time, but it’s still nice, BetSoft did come up with a very nice background for this. The player will find themselves in the Doctors Lab messing around with his equipment while they spin away to get their wins. The artist(s) did work hard on this and it shows, however, this background image is a static image. The Monster is just kind of staring off into nowhere while the creepy little Doctor just stares at you while you do the work. When you hit a win the Monster will look at you and smile, so that’s nice, but even then this image is static, it’s not animated, so you’re really just looking at a solid background while going through the normal spins.

Audibly, this is where one of the 2 problems arrive. While spinning, you’ll hear the reels turning and hear the reels stopping, but there’s no background music. After playing for a while the player may get tired of hearing the same “Thud thud thud thud thud” over and over. That’s just not pleasant for an otherwise great slot. Our advice? When the player is taking money from the Doctor load up some music from somewhere else and listen to that!

Electric Wins

Paylines
The 20 paylines that are in Frankenslot’s Monster are not adjustable meaning that you’re going to get no more, no less, you don’t get to control them which may be the other downside to this otherwise great slot machine, (along with the lack of audio). The player can, however, adjust the amount of bets per line, (1-5) and the amount of credits each bet is worth, (0.01-0.35) making this slot within reach of any player regardless of the size of their bankroll.

Bonus Symbols
Frankenslot’s Monster does come along with some Wild Symbols to be on the watch for. These take the form of an Electric Panel with the word “Bonus” slapped all over it making sure that you don’t miss it. Get 3 of these symbols on the board and it’s mini game time! (These symbols will appear on reels 1, 3, and 5.)

Mini Game
When the player gets to the minigame, Frankenslot’s Monster leaves a little to be desired in the form of not really explaining what the player should be doing. They’ll be presented with a box with 4 levers on it. The player is then expected to adjust the levers to their liking and then “hit a switch” to collect their prize which is the players bet, multiplied by up to 25x.
So, it stands to reason that it doesn’t really matter what the player does during this minigame, the prize has already been selected by the slot itself, it’s really just giving you a little something else to do for a moment and feel as though they made a difference. However, the players bet being multiplied by as much as 25x? Well, that’s nothing to sneeze at at all!

Scatter Symbols
Who doesn’t love some Free Spins? They’re really the best and Frankenslot’s Monster loves to hand them out! To get these spins the player will be looking to match up 3 of the “Scatter Symbols”. These are like the Bonus symbols we have discussed but they have “Scatter” written on them so that the player doesn’t miss those! Match 3 of these and the free spins will start up. Double the Wins

Final Thoughts

There is a specific group of people that will always love the Universal Classic Monsters. Dracula, the Mummy, Wolfman, and of course, Frankenstein. Will those players love Frankenslot’s Monster? Oh, absolutely.
For everyone else, they may not have the same love for it, but it’s still worth at least checking out!
