The main Wild symbol of Alien Wins is that of a (what else?) UFO. When one or more of these appear on a reel, the flying saucer in question will expand, covering the entire reel and awarding a re-spin. Any additional Wild symbols that pop up at this time will expand and award another free spin. During this time, the reels that have the Wild symbols will be locked in place until no more re-spins are awarded.

Each of these Wild symbols award a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 8x. The multiplier applies to the bet line of win of the spin in which it was awarded.

Your wins will be calculated at the end of each re-spin after all of the Wild symbols have expanded and multipliers awarded.

Note that these Wild symbols will only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.

• Bursting Wilds

The Bursting Wilds feature can be randomly activated anytime after either a spin or a re-spin.

When this feature is active, one to three wild symbols will randomly land of reels 2, 3, or 4. Also, during this feature, the Wild symbols cannot land on top of any other wild symbols.

• Cosmic Spins

With a higher bet, the players can activate Cosmic Spin to guarantee the appearance of Wild Symbols on reels 2, 3, or 4.

If you wish to activate this feature, the cost will be 10x the bet size for 1 guaranteed symbol per spin, and 95x the bet size for 2 guaranteed Wild Symbols per spin.

The Sights And The Sounds Of Unearthly Beings

The visual aspect of this slot is not horrible. You will not find the latest, super-fancy 3D slot here, but there are certainly worse out there as well!

The symbols are crisp and clear, artistically, very well done. The background of the slot has some movement to it, it’s not a static image, but doesn’t give a ton to look at either. There is the visual of flying through the cosmos looking for some riches, albeit lightly. There are no “Easter Eggs” to be on the lookout for here.

As for the sound? It’s actually quite pleasant as you get to choose the sound you want. You see, during our testing playthrough, we played at two different casino.

As for the first of the two, we played over at Roaring 21, and if you scroll down to the gameplay video, that’s where the video was taken from. You will see that the sound is next to non-existent. You do get a faint “thud thud thud” while playing, and some alerts that go off when you hit a win, but there was no background music or anything of the sort.

This is a great option for those that enjoy doing “other stuff” while they’re playing, such as watching television or listening to their own music but don’t want to just mute their gaming.

Over at the other casino we played at, Spinfinity, you still had the same sounds as we found at Roaring 21, but there was also a very nice musical theme coming with it. It seems to be a very ethereal tune, kind of what you would hear if you were watching a Pixar movie.

So, the choice is yours! You’ll get to decide if you want full submersion or you if you don’t really want too many distractions!

Conclusion

There is one drawback to Alien Wins that we actually haven’t mentioned yet, and that’s the fact that we cannot find the RTP for this slot. Normally, we wouldn’t recommend a slot without that information, but it seems to be becoming more and more common to not find this information.
